 
As a part of the management perfecting process, the Budget has been prepared based on the priorities defined in a consensual manner on the Strategic Planning for 2004/2008.

As a part of the process of constitution of the Investment Policy for the 2005/2012 period, many meetings were organized to present new outlooks and macro-economic projections to PREVI’s employees and Banco do Brasil representatives. The goal of such meetings and lectures was the updating of macro-economic premises and long-term projections.
Later, this new Policy Guideline was made available to council members and affiliated companies.

A Corporate Risk methodology was developed, allowing the relation of the economic value of companies and real states on which PREVI own stakes, to their risk levels. This tool will allow projections on changes on these assets’ value according to market risks and specific risks for each business venture. It will also make possible the comparison of assets based on one single methodology – taking into account risk and return – for the taking of divesting decisions.
Among other activities reported in the period we should also highlight the set-up of the Operational Limits System for Financial Institutions, updating banks’ operational limits.

Besides the routine activities, other actions were taken in the systems development (new website and Intranet, voting system, fixed income, cash management, liquidity risk project, etc.) and production (maximization of the net occupation) fronts.

Personnel Call
The recruitment and selection process has been perfected, with updating of the “profissiographic” profile, résumé analysis and behavioral evaluation.
Training and Development
PREVI’s Corporate Education Policy has been reviewed from the point of view of the institution’s most recent needs.
Several motivational actions were put in practice, like scholarships opportunities for language experts, graduation, and master’s degrees stricto and latu sensu. Complementary Social Security Updating Courses were also offered for internal education of employees.
