The Fiscal Council of Caixa de Previdências dos Funcionários do Banco do Brasil – PREVI, in the exercise of its attributions made official by Incise II, article #31, of the Institution’s Statute, and in view of the dispositions of CGPC Resolution #5, of Jan. 30, 2002, amended by CGPC Resolution #10 of July 5th, 2002, hereby states that we have examined the PREVI Annual Activities Report and all Accounting Statements referring to the administration period adjourned in Dec. 31, 2004.

Considering the examination undertaken, including appraisal of the documentation mentioned on the previous item, allied to the Institution’s auditors’ actuarial opinion and independent auditors’ opinion reports, in addition to information provided by members of the Executive Board of Directors, the Fiscal Council concludes in favor of the approval of the PREVI Annual Activities Report and all Accounting Statements referring to the administration period adjourned in Dec. 31, 2004.
