Invited by the then Secretary General of the United Nations Organization, Kofi Annan, PREVI was the only institution from Latin America to participate in the elaboration of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI - Princípios para o Investimento Responsável). A UNO initiative, these principles compose a document that brings together a set of responsible investment practices to be observed by investors in the analysis and evaluation of business ventures. After New York, the Principles were launched in Brazil in May of 2006.
