PREVI - Relatório Anual 2007

One of the most outstanding facts in 2007 was that the number of PREVI Futuro's active participants exceeded that of Plano 1. That youngest plan, which in 2008 will celebrate its 10th anniversary, received more than 7,5 thousand new participants during 2007. That equals more than three times the number enrollments in 2006. At the end of 2007, PREVI Futuro had more than 45 thousand people, including Banco do Brasil employees, participants and external contributors.

Out of the employees who joined the bank in 2007, 7,601 of them enrolled in PREVI, representing 88.9% of the total number. Besides those, were received 798 applications from employees who had joined the bank in previous years.

Domestic Meeting PREVI / Gepes

The big jump in the number of PREVI Futuro participants is due, to a great extent, to the endeavor of the Gepes staff (Regional Administration of Personnel Management) in the whole country.

Duly instructed by PREVI, the Gepes colleagues are the ones who present the PREVI Futuro Plan to the new Banco do Brasil employees.

In August 2007, the third edition of the Domestic PREVI / Gepes Meeting put together in Rio de Janeiro 25 analysts and 20 managers of regional Gepes. The objective was to up to date those collaborators about PREVI and its benefits.

It was also renewed the Agreement with BB, that provides for the presentation, divulgation and enrollment to PREVI Futuro of new employees on the occasion of their taking office in the bank. The new feature in this case is that the presentation of the Capec Portfolio (Annuity) was also included in the Agreement.

Former employees in PREVI Futuro

Besides the growing number of enrollments to PREVI Futuro, we have also notice an increase in the number of former employees who have opted to continue in PREVI.

Close to 25 % of the employees who were dismissed have moved from the position of active participant to that of External Contributor, Partial External Participant or Integral External Participant.
